Discover London in a whole new light.
This private 1–1 photography walk takes you through five iconic spots where you’ll learn how to use your camera more creatively.
By the end, you’ll have unique photos from five landmarks and a stronger grasp of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, framing, and composition.
On this private London Photography Walk, you’ll explore five hand-picked spots and discover how to capture them with creativity and confidence. Over 3 to 4 hours together, I’ll show you how to spot the best light, compose shots with intention, and finally take control of aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
This isn’t a classroom. It’s London as your workshop.
Every landmark becomes a lesson, every frame an experiment. By the end, you’ll not only have five creative shots to be proud of, but also the skills to transform the way you shoot wherever you go next.
Along the way, we’ll pause for a coffee and cake to review what we’ve captured so far and talk through the next set of shots. Think of it as a creative reset before diving back in.
The walk usually lasts around 3 to 4 hours, but the focus is always on completing the five locations, not on watching the clock.

FAQs
-
🌧️ What if it rains?
This is London… rain happens! We’ll carry on unless the weather is extreme. Rain can create brilliant reflections and moodier images. If the forecast looks truly awful, we’ll reschedule for another day.
-
👟 What should I wear?
Comfortable walking shoes are a must. We’ll be on our feet for 3 to 4 hours, covering a few miles. Dress for the weather and bring an umbrella or light waterproof if needed.
-
⏱️ How long will the walk last?
Around 3 to 4 hours. The focus is on completing your five creative shots, not on watching the clock.
-
📷 What camera should I bring?
Any camera works.
DSLR, mirrorless, or compact. As long as you can adjust aperture, shutter speed and ISO, you’ll be able to follow along.
Prefer to use your phone? That works too. We’ll focus more on framing and composition, since manual settings are harder to control on most phones.
-
👩🏫 Do I need to be a beginner?
Not at all. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of aperture, shutter speed, ISO and composition. More experienced photographers will gain new perspectives and creative ways to approach familiar landmarks.
-
🔄 What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellations with at least 7 days’ notice can be rescheduled at no cost. With less than 7 days’ notice, I’ll do my best to move you, but I can’t guarantee availability.
-
👥 How many people will be on the walk?
It’s a private 1 to 1 experience. That way, you get full attention and plenty of space to experiment without rushing.
